Duties:
Assists the Head Coach and Women’s Soccer Program with:
Developing a program that will be competitive in the Pacific West Conference.
Successfully recruiting and retaining academically and athletically motivated student athletes who will have a positive impact on the program and campus.
Planning, scheduling and conducting team practices and workouts.
Assist in mental and emotional wellbeing of student athletes.
Create and administer strength and conditioning plans.
Preparing annual (conference and non-conference) schedules for submission to the Director of Athletics.
Managing all aspects of home contests, including coordination of facilities and officials.
Making travel arrangements for entire travel party
Work with Associate Athletic Director on flight arrangements by preparing dates, times and number of seats required.
Make lodging and rental car reservations.
Providing necessary documentation to office staff to process travel requests/completions.
Ordering, keeping inventory and maintenance of uniforms, supplies and equipment.
Performs all Head Coach duties in absence of Head Coach.
Coordinates the program’s fundraising activities and the outreach of alumni.
Completes and submits all required compliance forms.
Timely submission of CARA and recruit logs.
Knows and abides by the rules, regulations and policies of the University of
Hawaii, the Athletics Department, the Pacific West Conference and the NCAA.
Performs other duties/functions as assigned.
Minimum Qualifications:
Possession of a baccalaureate degree in any field and at least two (2) years of experience coaching Women’s Soccer; or any equivalent combination of education/and or professional work experience which provides the required education, knowledge, skills and abilities as indicated.
Proficient in Google Docs, Microsoft Word and Microsoft Excel.
Ability to travel in and out-of-state.
Desirable Qualifications:
Prior NCAA DII coaching experience.
