Job Summary
All facets of outside sales of company’s distribution, small, medium & large power and mobile substation transformers products.
Responsible for cultivating and managing customers to generate a proper level of Request for Quotations.
Ensure all sales and marketing activities comply with the Company’s Rules of Procedures.
Responsibilties will include:
Insure that WEG Transformers USA remains in good standing with customers within the territory – be instrumental in resolving problems if any exist.
Manage Sales Representatives & Distributors within the territory-providing assistance where needed.
Assist in making annual territorial budgets as required by the Company with responsibility for budget once established.
Attend IEEE & specific product shows as required.
Function as a liaison between the different WEG factories in North Americas and the customers within the assigned territory from a sales perspective.
Assist inside sales people, when necessary, to resolve quotation and/or order problems.
Help position WEG as an approved supplier at those accounts where we currently are not approved.

Requirements:
Basic:
Accredited Four Degree or University Program Certificate in business management with emphasis on sales and marketing or engineering (Electrical or Mechanical) or equivalent demonstrated experience.
Four (4) or more years related experience in power transformers’ industry (asset).
Ability to read, analyze, and interpret complex technical requirements of customers.
Ability to respond to common inquiries or complaints from customers.
Ability to develop and deliver presentations to customers.
Ability to effectively present information to top management
Ability to travel 80% of time
Possess high level of inter-personal skills and have ability to be persuasive and give leadership.
Must have current work authorization to perform work in the United States of America.
Preferred:
Knowledge of foreign language a plus; such as Spanish.
