HPM Building Supply is seeking to hire a part-time Marketing and Purchasing Intern.
This is a paid internship with a pay rate of $18.
00 hourly and is in Hilo, Hawaii.
This is a temporary position and less than 20 hours with a flexible schedule Mon-Fri.
This position does not include benefits but does provide an incredible opportunity to learn and grow!
The Marketing and Purchasing Internship offers a dynamic opportunity to gain valuable experience in marketing and purchasing functions.
Both departments are highly collaborative, fostering an environment where you will work closely with marketing and purchasing teams to support various initiatives.
As a marketing intern, you will assist in developing campaigns and creating content, while in the purchasing role, you will contribute to inventory management, product merchandising, and vendor communications.
This internship provides a well-rounded experience in two critical areas of HPM's business operations, with the chance to collaborate across all departments.
QUALIFICATIONS
Intermediate computer skills
Advanced Excel skills are strongly preferred
Requires current valid driver's license
Must be able to lift 25 pounds
Familiarity with graphic design software (e.
g.
, Adobe InDesign, Canva) is a plus
Ability to communicate clearly and concisely, verbally and in writing
