Cafe Barista and Chocolate Gift Retail Salesperson

Looking for people who love chocolate and coffee and are available for Full Time work (30-40 hours) or Part Time work (15-30 hours per week).
Puna Chocolate Company grows its own cacao and coffee across Big Island and makes our own chocolate.
In our store, we sell what we make as well as coffee, food, and fine crafts that other Big Islanders create.
Our Hale Cocoa (Kokoleke) where we are looking to staff now is brand new and opening with increasing hours in the Kainaliu area of Kealekekua next to the Aloha Theater, 10 minutes south of Kailua-Kona.
It features a cafe menu and future cocktail bar service.
Hours are 6:30am-6pm every day and we hope to open more hours as we increase staffing.
You would be great with people and enjoy customer interactions, interested in what they are shopping for, and provide insight on how chocolate and coffee is grown and manufactured in Hawaii.
You would be able to make coffee and chocolate drinks, operate the point of sales and help maintain and ensure there is enough inventory.
Barista background is very helpful! Shifts are 5-8 hours, either 6am-noon or noon to 6pm.
Must love customer service and agriculture as well as be able to talk about products.
An outgoing and positive personality is important.
Compensation: Base pay starts at $17 per hour plus monthly bonuses on top of base according to sales ($100-$750/month).
You keep the tip money you earn (typically $20-$50 per shift).
Raises occur every 3-6 months.
In all, you will be making a minimum of $20 per hour and up to $30/hour based on sales performance and customer service.
