Responsibilities:
· Represent Rock Star Pet Supplies & Gifts at farmer’s markets and events
· Achieve sales goals at markets and events
· Use markets and events to increase community awareness of Rock Star Pet Supplies & Gifts and drive traffic to the store
· Responsible for picking up merchandise and supplies from the store, driving to the market/event, setting up the booth, working the booth, and tearing down
· Passionate about pets and willing to learn our products, services, and benefits to our customer’s pets.
· Positon will also require some in-store shifts as well as off site markets
· In-store shifts include customer service, sales, stocking, cleaning, and may include some animal care duties, as well as other tasks assigned
Experience:
· Retail sales experience necessary
· Strong customer service skills
· Reliable and ability to work independently
· Marketing skills would be of benefit but not required
· Animal care skills would be of benefit but not required
Requirements:
· Must have a reliable vehicle capable of transporting a pop up tent, folding tables, and large plastic bins
· Must be able to lift & carry 40+lbs
Schedule:
· Weekends are required
· There will be a combination of set weekly markets, as well as once-per-month events and one time events.
· Farmer’s markets are mornings through early afternoons
· Events can vary but some will require evenings
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $17.
00 - $21.
00 per hour
Expected hours: 10 – 20 per week
