Sales Representative _Reports directly to Vice President of Business Development_ Job Purpose The Sales Representative primary role is to drive revenue growth.
Responsible for increasing company revenue by identifying and developing new business opportunities as well as expanding brand presence.
They actively cultivate new and foster current existing customer relationships by proactively identifying sales opportunities, effectively showcase products and services, and secure successful deals.
This role aims to understand client needs, offer tailored solutions, and consistently surpass sales targets.
Sales Representatives are instrumental in upholding the company's image, fostering customer confidence, and driving the business towards broader success and growth through their sales acumen and efforts.
Position Details * Full-Time * Exempt Responsibilities *Revenue Generation* * Acquire high-value global and local trade partners as per agreed targets and actively initiate and follow up on sales actions, obtain sales leads and dynamically seek new business.
* Engage in consultative selling techniques and services with a dedicated focus on new business development.
* Work closely with the marketing department to develop targeted, relevant promotions and campaigns in line with sales goals.
* Actively assist in promoting a culture of relationship-based selling while working and collaborating within a dynamic sales team.
*Portfolio Management* * Service the existing portfolio in order to maintain and grow the value (focusing on revenue and profit growth).
* Make regular sales visits to clients.
Prioritize top revenue generating partners.
Conduct presentations, training, seminars, provide updates on products and services in order to enhance sales opportunities and facilitate sales.
* Negotiate rates, commissions and contracts in a timely manner against a background of data and yields to achieve the best return on investment using the companies Approved Profit calculator.
* Ensure that a cohesive sales activity and marketing plan is in place and managed with each incentivized trade partner.
* Be the company’s ambassador within the portfolio to maintain strong relationships ensuring positive and prominent brand position.
*General Sales* * Actively manage the cost of sales needed to generate the revenue within the mandated parameters and within budget.
* Closely monitor the effectiveness of incentive schemes by conducting regular and timely performance reviews in order to maximize available and potential sales opportunities.
* Actively promote the use of new tools and technology to enhance communication, convenience, efficiency and service experience.
* Utilize Microsoft Teams to manage new and existing customers and sales activities.
* Utilize Internal Sales software to track the account performance.
* Represent Paradise at industry and networking events.
* Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications Credentials & Experience * Legally eligible for employment in the United States of America * Hold a valid driver’s license * Background check * Preferred bachelor’s degree in Sales and/or Marketing * 1+ years of sales experience Physical Demands & Work Environment * Ability to work indoors for extended periods of time * Ability to walk, stand, and sit for extended periods of time * Ability to lift or carry 20lbs Additional * Have good communication and negotiation skills * Ability to read and write the English language * Possess the ability to work independently as well as in a team environment * Good attention to detail is a must * Basic computer skills required * Good working knowledge of purchasing strategies * Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving skills This job description is not designed to cover or contain a comprehensive listing of activities, duties or responsibilities that are required of the employee.
