Job purpose
The Edible Production Assistant is responsible for various tasks associated with the preparation,
production, and cleanup of Edible Cannabis Products.
This role requires a strong focus on organization,
cleanliness, and good manufacturing practices.
Day to Day Responsibilities
As an Edible Production Assistant, your role focuses on ensuring the highest quality and
compliance with good manufacturing practices in the production of edible cannabis
products.
Your responsibilities include:
Maintain a clean and organized production environment in compliance with good
manufacturing practices (GMP).
Assist in the production of edible cannabis products, including preparation, cooking,
and cleaning.
Collaborate with the Quality Assurance team to implement and maintain strict quality
control measures.
Support the production leads/specialists in monitoring and documenting production
processes, including batch records, temperature logs, and sanitation records.
Assist in equipment setup, operation, and maintenance to ensure the safe and
efficient production of edible products.
Work with the Compliance department to ensure adherence to all relevant regulations
and standards.
Collaborate with the Packaging department to package finished edible products
accurately and efficiently.
Conduct routine inventory checks and assist with restocking raw materials and
packaging supplies.
General cleaning and organization of the production area to maintain a hygienic and
orderly workspace.
Perform other tasks and duties as assigned by the supervisor, which may include
assisting in various aspects of edible production.
Collaborate, support and work effectively with other edible production team members.
Qualifications
To be successful as an Edible Production Assistant, you should have the following
qualifications:
Strong organizational skills, with an attention to detail and cleanliness.
Ability to effectively multitask and adapt to changing priorities in a fast-paced
environment.
Proficiency in learning and operating computer hardware and software systems used
in production.
Familiarity with Microsoft and Google software (e.
g.
, Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Docs,
Sheets).
Honest, trustworthy, and dependable; must pass a criminal background check.
Ability to work effectively under pressure to meet production deadlines.
Working conditions
The working conditions for this role include:
Standing, bending, and occasional lifting of items up to 50 pounds.
A mix of indoor and outdoor tasks may be required, and conditions may be influenced
by the weather.
The ability to thrive in a fast-paced business environment.
Physical requirements
Individual must be able to sit or stand for long periods of time and lift up to 50 (fifty) pounds.
Available shifts and compensation: We have available shifts all days of the week.
Compensation depends on your experience.
