Duties:
-must have Quickbooks experience
- Perform payroll functions, including processing employee timecards, calculating wages, and issuing paychecks
- Conduct account reconciliation to ensure accuracy and completeness of financial records
- Perform bank reconciliation to match bank statements with company records
- Utilize 10 key typing skills to accurately input financial data
- Manage accounts receivable, including invoicing clients and tracking payments
- Conduct account analysis to identify discrepancies or irregularities
- Apply technical accounting knowledge to ensure compliance with accounting principles and regulations
- Assist with tax preparation and filing
- Participate in budgeting process to help manage company finances effectively
Qualifications:
- Proven experience as a bookkeeper or in a similar role
- Proficiency in accounting software and MS Office Suite (particularly Excel)
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy in data entry and record keeping
- Excellent organizational skills and ability to prioritize tasks effectively
- Knowledge of financial report writing and analysis techniques
- Familiarity with tax regulations and procedures
- Ability to work independently and meet deadlines
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written
