RESPONSIBILITIES
Responsible for working with the Chief Executive Officer in the development and management of the ʻAha Pūnana Leo fundraising and marketing alignment efforts by driving its marketing position while increasing its financial support base among individuals, corporations, foundations, and other additional sources to meet the financial objectives of the organization.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS, BASIC DUTIES
Assumes responsibility for the effective performance of all Development functions with approval from executive leadership.
Assumes responsibility for establishing and maintaining effective business relations with donors, vendors, governmental agencies and outside business and Development professionals.
Assumes responsibility for strategic marketing and positioning the organization in a positive public relations with approval from executive leadership.
Works with Marketing Contractor and Executives to manage social media accounts including Instagram, Linkedin, Facebook ect.
Other duties and tasks outside of regular work duties listed above to be assigned by the CEO.
SKILLS
Minimum of four years of Hawaiian language background.
Bachelorʻs degree in a related field preffered.
Three years of non profit administrative experience
Knowledge of best practices and effective trends for social media platform engagement such as Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, LinkedIn, etc
Stellar communication skills with a variety of audiences.
Organized and able to multitask
Able to meet deadlines and manage projects.
Detail oriented
Ability to use independent judgment and manage confidential information.
