A locally owned tile and stone company is seeking a full-time sales rep for our Kailua-Kona showroom.
We are a fast-paced and growing retail and wholesale company.
Must be able to periodically lift tile and stone samples.
Must have a motivated, friendly, and outgoing attitude.
A clean driving record, knowledge of tile and stone, previous A&D experience, and a proven sales record is preferred.
This is a goal-oriented role, and the qualities needed to be a successful candidate include the ability to be a listener, communicator, negotiator, pacifier, problem-solver, decision-maker, coordinator, and be "customer conscious.

Requirements include
* Promote the company's products to customers, designers, architects, and contractors.
* Support sales staff when needed and work with all coworkers and management as a team.
* Maintain current customer base while expanding the reach and identify new opportunities in the State of Hawaii.
* Show a keen desire to be of service to others.

* Keep customers and the contracting community informed of the products we offer.
* Maintain assigned contractor, designer, architect sample programs.
* Keep management informed of your activities and opportunities.
* Work with suppliers and freight companies to best serve customers and projects.
* Invoice and collect payment on orders in a timely and efficient manner.
* Understand and support company policies and procedures.
* Be cognizant of the competitor's employees and products.
* Basic knowledge of MS Office applications and Mac OS is a plus.
* Be a dependable team player.
* Ability to work independently.
* Ability to track projects and orders to ensure the sale does come through.
* Ability to exceed minimum sales goals.
* Maintain relationships with contractors who will order specified materials.
* Visit job sites in the event of job problems and assist in providing solutions that are business-savvy solutions and resolution strategies.
* Promote materials at various trade shows.
* Analyze product needs suggest opportunities to the construction community and management.
* Ability to maintain a clean and safe working environment.
* College bachelor's degree with an emphasis in business preferred but equivalent in work experience is acceptable.
The position is full-time Monday-Friday 730am-430pm with occasional evenings and weekends for events and trade shows.
Compensation is competitive and will vary depending on the applicant's qualifications.
The position is open immediately is salaried + performance bonuses if sales goals are met or exceeded.

has grown from a small showroom and warehouse in Kailua-Kona to be the largest locally owned tile and stone company (by physical combined size) in the State of Hawaii.
The position open is at our Honolulu showroom and warehouse.
